"Nature Morte" is a collection of works by German photographer Manfred Paul. Born in Schlaprau in 1942, after graduating from high school he worked as a truck worker and studied as a technician in a photo lab. He then worked as a director's assistant and theater cameraman before becoming a photojournalist, while also relearning photography at a school in Leipzig. He taught at FWG Berlin for 20 years from 1974 to 1994, and at the photography department of FHTW Berlin from 1995 onwards, and is also committed to mentoring the next generation. In parallel with his teaching, he has also held many exhibitions since the 1980s, and is a photographer well-known for his still lifes and landscapes full of sculptural beauty, as well as conceptual works. This is the same series as "En Passant," a unique collection of works shot in the 1980s that focuses on "women's legs," and is a book composed of still lifes shot from the early to mid-1980s.
