This book is a collection of works by Daido Moriyama, one of the most representative Japanese photographers of the 20th century, titled "Hokkaido." This collection was published during an exhibition held at the Rat Hole Gallery, run by the now defunct Hysteric Glamour, from 2008 to 2009, and is composed of images of "Hokkaido" taken by Moriyama in the late 1970s. Moriyama, who had been active at a rapid pace in the early 1970s, had fallen into a slump, but he rented an apartment and stayed there for nearly three months to take pictures. Some of these images were published in magazines in the 1980s, but most of them were unpublished and slept. These are valuable images. This book is a large A3 size book with over 600 pages, making it the largest collection of Moriyama's works. By the way, after this exhibition, Moriyama's Hokkaido works have been exhibited and a collection of his works published in Hokkaido for three consecutive years, titled the "Nothern" series. (It can be shipped overseas, but the shipping fee will be high due to the weight of the product.)
