Diamonds are Forever (Signed) is a collection of works by French photographer Jean Law. He studied law and philosophy at university, then painting at an art school, and after nearly 10 years of painting, he turned to photography. Influenced by portrait masters such as August Sander and Diane Arbus, he has focused on portraits. Jean Law has also taught at the School of Photography in Arles and served as a visiting professor at the School of Fine Arts in Rouen in the north for nearly 15 years, and has been involved in mentoring the next generation. He has a deep knowledge of Japan, has participated in an artist-in-residence program in Kyoto, and has previously released portraits of "Sumo," but this work is a collection of portraits of entertainers performing at nightclubs in Kyoto, taken late at night. The unique works are reminiscent of the portraits of Shinjuku once captured by Katsumi Watanabe. Signed .
