"To My Angels (Signed)" is a photo collection by Japanese photographer Taku Arata (1936-). While working as a graphic designer in the 1960s, Arata personally shot images as part of his training. One of these images caught the eye of photo editor Shoji Yamagishi, a designer he had a relationship with, and was published in Camera Mainichi in 1969. In 1970, he turned to photography. While working in the fields of fashion and advertising, he subsequently produced photobooks primarily focused on nude photography. This book marks a departure from his previous fashion-inspired nude photography style, moving closer to a documentary approach. Arata describes these photographs as "emotionally road movie-like," as he visits the brothels (chacaras) of Brazil and captures nude prostitutes and male prostitutes. Copywriter Yoshiya Nishimura contributes a text at the beginning of the book. The book is signed and presented .
