ABECEDA Tanecni Komposice is a collection of works by Czech poet Vítězslav Nezval (1900-1958) and dancer Mircea Máyerova (1901-1986). Based on the original 1926 edition, this reprint was later reprinted to reassess the avant-garde experiment of the time, which combined text, photography, and dance. Known as a binding symbolic of the Czech avant-garde, Nezval's poetry visualizes the rhythm of the alphabet, while Máyerova's poses are captured in photographs, creating a unique structure in which language and body interact, reinterpreting the experimental spirit of the early 20th century with a contemporary perspective. This reprint faithfully reproduces the original typography and page layout, conveying the innovative spirit of the first edition for today.
