"Shizuoka Poetry" is a collection of works by Masashi Sanai, one of Japan's leading photographers. Sanai, who began taking up photography seriously in the early 1990s, is a unique photographer who has mastered his own style through self-study. While fundamentally different, his photographs, which often portray mundane landscapes, are reminiscent of the highly popular Yoshiko Seino and his profound insight into his subjects.
