This is the exhibition catalog for the Japanese avant-garde artist Shozo Kitadai (1921–2001), titled "The 14th Homage to Shuzo Takiguchi Exhibition: Shozo Kitadai 'Entropy – An Experiment in Disorder in Form'." Kitadai joined the avant-garde art group "Jikken Kobo" (Experimental Workshop), centered around Shuzo Takiguchi, in the 1950s, and is known as an artist who pioneered postwar Japanese avant-garde art with experimental productions that spanned multiple fields such as fine art, photography, video, and sound. This book is a catalog published in conjunction with an exhibition held at the Satani Gallery in Tokyo in 1994, and was planned as the 14th installment of the "Homage to Shuzo Takiguchi Exhibition" series, which inherits the spirit of Shuzo Takiguchi. Using the concept of "entropy" in the title as a starting point, it introduces Kitadai's sculptural thinking and experimental works, and the photographs of the works were taken by photographer Sadamu Saito.
