"Dotei Datcho-Kun (Signed, With OBI)" is a collection of works by Nobuyoshi Araki, one of Japan's leading photographers. While Araki has published over 500 photobooks to date, the majority of which are, of course, "photobooks" or "theories of photography" expressing his thoughts and ideas, this is a rare "artbook." Araki's artistic talent is evident in the "collages" and "paintings" included in his previously published works, but this book seems to mainly compile works from around the 1970s and 1990s, such as "erotic characters" he drew during boring meetings while working as a salaryman at Dentsu, and portraits of women (including a portrait of Nan Goldin). The design and editing by Seiichi Suzuki further highlights Araki's diverse talent and the appeal of the collection as a whole. Includes stickers. Comes with an obi (paper band). Signed and messaged by the photographer .
