“Seoul, Modern Times”, a collection of works by Korean photographer Han Young-soo. Han Young-su, born in 1933, is one of the most representative photographers in Korea after the war and one of the most active people in the commercial world. He was born and raised in a wealthy family, and he was full of talent as an artist since he was a child, and he became interested in photography as a hobby while waking up to art. By introducing my friend, I got a catalog photo job at a department store and was highly evaluated there, so I decided to make my own studio, and since then I have been active in the commercial world. In commemoration of the 15th anniversary of his death, Han Seung-joon, the third photographer, established a new foundation and is the first photo book published. Seung-jun feels that his father's photo begins with the realism he shot before going on the road to commercials, and this book contains illustrations taken around the 1960s. I was impressed by the camera eye like Kimura Ihei, the design eye reminiscent of Yasuhiro Ishimoto, and the fact that there were such excellent photographers in Korea.
