"Goze," a photobook by Japanese photographer Terutaka Hashimoto. Born in Ishinomaki City, Miyagi Prefecture in 1939, he began his career as a photographer in the 1960s. Terutaka Hashimoto is one of the leading photographers of postwar Japan, capturing the old and beautiful culture and original landscapes of Japan that are gradually being forgotten in modern times, such as the Kitakami River and Nishiyama Onsen, while also making a name for himself with portraits of famous people such as Choji Murata and Hideo Nomo under the title "Faces of Men." From a collection of over 13,000 illustrations, Sokyusha's Michitaka Ota meticulously selected and re-edited the best images, arranging them chronologically. Naturally, this 21st-century edition includes previously unpublished illustrations not found in the two previous works.
