A collection of works by Japanese photographer Tonomura Tomoka (1979-), "Mama Love (Signed)". After graduating from the Broadcasting and Film Department of Osaka Visual Arts, she began taking photographs in 2002, and in 2008 made her shocking debut with "Mama Love," a black-and-white photograph of her own mother that caused a huge sensation. On the obi, photographer Nobuyoshi Araki commented, "An affair with the darkness." Women as mothers, mothers as women, everyone lives with various roles and faces. Even if the face each person chooses may have the potential to be perceived as immoral, can others deny it? This work shows the strength and sadness of a daughter choosing her mother's figure, which she may want to look away from, as her subject, and accepting everything as a woman and her own mother. Signed by the photographer .
