The "Shashin Jidai Bunko" series was born from the magazine "Shashin Jidai" edited by the legendary editor Akira Suei. It was launched with the aim of making photobooks available to a wider audience, and its first issue was "A Storm of Love" by Nobuyoshi Araki, affectionately known as Araki. Araki fell in love with Hori Taeko, who was an attendant to actress Michiyo Okunuki, who appeared in the film "Zigeunerweisen" (1980) directed by Seijun Suzuki, and photographed her for two and a half years, compiling the results in this book. Hori's various expressions are captured in the photos, from natural portraits to staged shots in costume and nude. Hori's unique aura and mysteriousness stand out, and perhaps due to the long shooting period, her hairstyle has changed many times, making it seem as if she is a different person at first glance. At the end of the book, there is a dialogue between Araki and Hori, and a commentary on Araki Nobuyoshi by Kiyofumi Uesugi, a playwright and contributor to the magazine "Photography Age." Comes with a dust jacket.
