"Someone's Wife" is a collection of works by Nobuyoshi Araki, one of the most representative photographers of the 20th century. This book was published on the occasion of an exhibition held at the "Rat Hole Gallery" run by Hysteric Glamour, which sadly closed in July 2020. It is made up of unpublished dated images and works that have been painted over from the "Photographs of Married Women" series that Araki serialized in the magazine "Weekly Taishu" around 2000, which was a public competition. Araki says that "married women themselves are art," but there may not be many people other than Araki who can publish this kind of work as "art" (⇒ be recognized by the world). It is a collection of unique images of mature women who have unleashed their modesty. Limited to 500 copies.
